Good Architecture Makes Food Taste Better!

  1. Yes, I agree. As chefs consider the visual presentation of their dishes, builders and architects should consider and preview the presentation of rooms and spaces. A dining room can present the right colors and daylighting for pleasant conversation and digestion. The room should protect the diners from wind, dust, and insects. That room can hide those things are unsanitary or even things that are perceived as unsanitary.

    i used to really enjoy eating at Mi Cocina restaurants in the Dallas area. Their interiors were Mexican, but unconventional; the decor contained paintings and sculpture that appeared uniquely hand-crafted -much like their food. So the interior reinforced and elevated the entire dining experience.

    Now I am hungry.
